Abstract

This article presents the Lacanian proposal about the discourses as social bonds, studying specially the discourse of the university and the discourse of the capitalist. The paper concluded that what the discourse of the capitalist transmits can’t be characterized as a social bond, it’s characterized instead as a discursive abnormality, as something that holds the discursive movement. It also points the viability of the discourse of the university to reflect about the contemporary clinic, the silence of representations and the excess of the objects that follow the new symptoms. Given this scenario, it becomes even more important supporting the discourse of the analyst and its insistence in the discursive movement and the listening of the discontents.
