Sándor Ferenczi and the analysis between two children

Abstract

This article approaches the imbalance between analyst and analysand and its possible retraumatizing effects, taking into consideration Ferenczi’s concept of the traumatized child. Assuming that the adult hypocrisy can be repeated in the analysis through the professional hypocrisy, the purpose of this article is to discuss that the analytical situation requires a different relation from the one that once made the analysand ill.
