Psychoanalytic clinic with migrants
challenges and specificities
Abstract
Psychoanalytic work with migrants should modify itself in order to meet the needs of the population that is consulting. Different areas of care are addressed: attention in the office in face-to-face and online formats, specific work with expatriates and their families, institutional care with migrants and refugees in situations of vulnerability. Each of these modalities of care implies modifications of the framing, language, time and space in the psychoanalytic context
